Key parameters and capacity
- Design capacity: 20 tons of used automotive raw materials per day (more than 7,000 tons per year).
- Type of raw materials: Used motor and transmission oils of passenger cars, trucks, and special equipment.
- Processing efficiency: Up to 80-85% of pure regenerated component yield.
Technological features of the line
Automotive oils contain complex packages of additives and their combustion products (soot, carbon deposits). The new refinery line is equipped with a specialized vacuum-thermal distillation complex that purifies the oil base at the molecular level:
1. Deep dehydration: Removal of accumulated condensate and residual automotive fuel (gasoline/diesel).
2. Vacuum rectification: Evaporation and separation of the oil base under ultra-low pressure, which prevents thermal destruction (coking) of the hydrocarbons.
3. Final adsorption finishing: Complete removal of oxidation products, old additives, resins, and odor. The result is a clear commercial oil.
Product line (Product yield from 20 tons of waste oil)
- ~15-16 tons of regenerated base oil of SN-150 and SN-300 grades (high-quality base for creating new motor and transmission oils of API groups I and II).
- ~2-3 tons of light diesel fraction component (used for internal needs of refineries or boiler houses).
- ~1 ton of heavy residue (a valuable raw material component for the production of bitumen, mastics, and road coatings).
Environmental and economic value
- Environmental protection: Recycling 20 tons of used oil per day prevents the potential contamination of millions of cubic meters of groundwater and soil.
- Resource conservation: It takes up to 100 liters of raw material to produce 1 liter of new motor oil from crude oil. Regeneration produces about 0.8 liters of clean base oil from 1 liter of used oil.
- Reducing the carbon footprint: The production cycle requires 70% less electricity compared to primary oil refining.
KEMOIL is open for long-term partnership in two areas:
1. Raw material collection: We accept volumes of used engine oil from large motor transport enterprises (MTPE), bus parks, service stations, dealerships and regional operators.
2. Product sales: We supply purified base oil to manufacturers of lubricants, auto chemicals and technical fluids.
